Robust Popcorn is a variety specially selected for making homemade popcorn. Grown at Semis de la Seigneurie, this corn produces 6-7 inch ears with hard, compact yellow kernels. Excellent popping rate, crisp and light texture. Matures in 90-100 days, vigorous plants reaching 6-8 feet. Perfect for healthy snacks, movie nights, and gourmet gifts.

Sow directly in the garden after all risk of frost has passed (late May-early June) when the soil temperature reaches 15°C (59°F). Full sun, rich soil. Space seeds 25-30 cm (10-12 inches) apart in rows 75 cm (30 inches) apart. Sow in clumps for pollination. Maturity: 90-100 days. Harvest: September-October; allow to dry completely on the plant.
