Waltham 29 broccoli is a heritage variety producing large, compact, blue-green heads. Grown at Semis de la Seigneurie, this broccoli, developed in 1954 in Massachusetts, is exceptionally cold-hardy and perfect for the Quebec climate. It produces 15-20 cm main heads followed by numerous side shoots. It has a mild flavor and tender texture.
