The essential refreshing herb for teas and mojitos!

Mint is a vigorous, perennial herb with a refreshing fragrance. Grown at Semis de la Seigneurie, this mint produces intensely fragrant green leaves, perfect for teas, cocktails, and desserts. Easy to grow and virtually indestructible, it's the ideal herb for beginner gardeners.

Why choose mint from Semis de la Seigneurie?

Seeds produced in Quebec – Adapted to our climate, pesticide-free

Refreshing fragrance – Intense and pleasant menthol

Hardy perennial – Comes back year after year

Vigorous growth – Abundant production

Easy cultivation – Almost indestructible

Culture in Quebec (zone 4b and above)

Mint is easy to grow in pots (recommended to control its spread) or directly in the ground. Start your seedlings indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost or sow directly in the garden in May. Mint is invasive – grow it in pots or install a root barrier.

Producer's advice

💚 Growing in pots is STRONGLY recommended – mint takes over everything

🌿 Water regularly – likes moist soil

☀️ Partial shade to full sun

✂️ Prune regularly to encourage branching and control spread

Mint is perfect in iced teas, mojitos, tabbouleh, fruit salads, and chocolate desserts. It's also excellent in digestive infusions, mint sauces for lamb, and fresh garnishes. Its refreshing taste enhances everything!
