Culture in Quebec (zone 4b and above)
Lavender is best grown in pots in Quebec to facilitate overwintering. Start your seedlings indoors 10-12 weeks before the last frost (February-March). Germination is slow and unpredictable (3-4 weeks). Transplant after the frosts to a warm, sunny, and very well-drained location.
