Very rustic perennial with a strong mint scent. Use in salads, jelly and herbal tea. Mint has a tendency to take over the entire garden if not contained.

Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last spring frost. Harvest leaves as needed.

Mint has a tendency to take over the garden if left unchecked. Cut off the bottom of a container, place the container in a hole in the garden, fill it with soil, and plant mint inside the container.
